THREE sick puppies in one hospital ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!! Sometimes we post some graphic cases and many people donate. What people don’t see, and what adds up the MOST for us in costs, are the dogs like these 3 pups.
They look “normal “. They don’t have any injuries or bones sticking out. But they need serious and expensive medical care. 🐶Trixie is a tiny yorkie puppy who was brought to us extremely critical because she had undiagnosed hydrocephalus. She has been in ICU for 4 days now and has gotten so much better but her bills are VERY high 🐶 Athena is a happy go lucky puppy that unexpectedly broke with Parvo. She is very sick but hopefully with ICU care, will make a full recovery 🐶 Bean is a puppy who has defied the odds and keeps on battling ever since the day she was born. She is now in ICU care because we cannot figure out what is causing her to vomit and be very anorexic. She saw the specialist today and needs additional and expensive testing and hospitalization.

Lovely Lynsey is ready for her #foreverhome to come along, and we couldn’t think of a dog who is more deserving of a new life than this gorgeous girl. Lynsey spent most of her life on a chain down south - underfed and unattended. Still, she is the absolute sweetest girl, and still loves humans, despite the ones in her life up until now, neglecting her. Lynsey is gaining weight and is a healthier 55 lbs now, but will most likely get bigger. We believe Lynsey is a #rottweilermix and #houndmix and she’s just stunning. Our special guy Ollie is stable after his emergency surgery yesterday! It was much more complicated than we anticipated, once Dr Sauer got in there. His jaw was broken so badly that Ollie required a special apparatus to put him back together. His body is riddled with buckshot which just breaks our hearts. He’s the sweetest dog and to think how cruel people were to him, just makes us so incredibly sad.
Ollie has a team of advocates behind him, and despite the terrible life he led, he is so friendly and loving. Dr Sauer and his amazing staff at Paws & Claws are taking wonderful care of this sweet boy, who has stolen our hearts. Ollie’s Care is going to be very expensive. He will need a second surgery, HW treatment, long term vet boarding and medication.

URGENT...Oliver is missing part of his face and needs surgery
WHY you ask ?
Because someone shot him. MANY times. THEY WERE CLEARLY TRYING TO KILL HIM, but thank goodness did not succeed!!! * His face is blown open from BB’s and he has a severely broken jaw. * He has been shot several places and has BB’s in his abdomen, chest and head. * He is heartworm and erlichia positive.
This is just what we know right now.
Despite ALL of this, Ollie is very sweet and incredibly grateful to now be a SNARR dog.
