About Us
SNARR Northeast (Special Needs Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation) based out of Westchester County, New York, was founded in 2011 and is run by Courtney Bellew.
I had found my passion and wanted to do more to help in my own area.
We save the toughest dogs to place; those with serious medical conditions, paralyzed dogs, deaf and blind dogs, severely emaciated dogs, dogs with neurological deficits & disease, dogs with injuries and orthopedic issues … the animals that nobody else wants; the dogs that would otherwise be euthanized.

Wonderful Rescue!
We adopted Quinn (formerly known as Brooke) - she is a wonderful pup and we are so happy to be her forever home. Couldn't have done it without the amazing help from everyone at SNARR. We are so impressed with the thorough adoption process. Thanks for all you do for the fur babies who need extra love and affection..

Amazing With Disabled Dogs
I can't say enough about the good work they do with dogs that are disabled or in need of forever homes. I got to watch a pit bull, whose spine was severed, recover and live a happy life. I myself was fostering one of their rescue dogs and decided to adopt her.
